More women than men dated: Paris Jackson doesn’t want to be bisexual

Paris Jackson talks about her sexuality in a new Facebook series. Michael Jackson’s daughter explains why she does not consider herself bisexual and why she is surprised by her current relationship with a man.

With “Unfiltered” a new “Facebook Watch” series has just started. The guests of the first episode were Paris Jackson and her friend, the musician Gabriel Glenn. It shows old recordings of Jackson with her late father Michael, including her older brother Prince. Then Paris Jackson speaks unfiltered about her life, music, love and sexuality.

She reveals: “I never thought that I would be with a man one day.” Paris Jackson and Gabriel Glenn have been a couple for a good two years and make music together as The Soundflowers. Before that, she thought she would marry a woman one day. “I had more relationships with women than with men,” the 22-year-old continued. “The public knows about three of my long-term relationships and they were all with men.

“It doesn’t matter what’s in your pants”

She is actually a lesbian, Jackson continues. She does not want to call herself bisexual because she loved more than just men and women. “I even dated a man who had a vagina,” she continues. “It doesn’t matter what’s in your pants. It doesn’t matter what chromosomes you have. It’s who you are as a person.”

Jackson had already announced on Instagram in 2018 that she came out at the age of 14. She had her first crush on a girl when she was eight. Your father noticed that very early on, Jackson now reports. “I think he felt the energy and raised me like my brothers. I was very lucky, not many children can experience it that way.”

Much changed when she moved to live with her grandmother, a Jehovah’s Witness, after his death. “Homosexuality is taboo in the black community,” Jackson said. “That and the religious aspect made me hold it back for a while. The first time I came out to a family member, the person didn’t believe me.”

She then received the greatest support from her brother Prince, who even joined the Gay Straight Alliance, a network for young homosexuals, transgender people, but also heterosexuals in US schools. He wanted to learn more about the topic so that he could better support his sister. “I’m really lucky,” Jackson said with a smile.
