More than 13,000 migrants have left Texas for sanctuary cities

So far, more than 13,500 migrants have been relocated by the Texas government to other parts of the United States in protest against President Joe Biden’s immigration policy.

Governor Greg Abbott explained that of those 13,500 migrants; nearly 8,400 were sent to Washington, 3,800 to New York, more than 1,200 to Chicago, and nearly 100 to Philadelphia.

Abbott assured via Twitter that Texas is doing everything it can to provide help to “overwhelmed communities” along the border.

This strategy is applauded by many and also criticized by others who consider this policy cruel and racist. Greg Abbott, however, has made it clear that he will continue to enforce this policy until there is better border control by the Joe Biden administration.
