WHATSAPP reported to have rolled out the ability feature edit photo for both desktop and web versions. Previously, this feature was only available for the mobile version of WhatsApp.
With the presence of this feature, the appearance when sending photos via WhatsApp web or desktop has changed. Because before this update, users could only add a caption to the photos to be sent.
Quoted from Android Police, Sunday (15/8/2021), the tools offered are exactly the same as in the mobile application version. Users can add emoji, text, stickers, doodles, including cropping and rotating photos.

Although this feature is not a major functional improvement, its presence is welcomed by users. Because users no longer need to bother using third-party applications to edit when taking screenshots on a computer or want to share ordinary photos.
Status updates on Whatsapp are now even cooler with the photo editing feature. Users can directly upload photo edits to status for other friends to see.
