Moon Studios has no plans for a third Ori game

So far we have had two sets of or, the first and that would demonstrate the proposal of this IP is, Ori and the Blind Forest and just this year, we had its long-awaited sequel Ori and the Will of the Wisps; two really incredible games, but everything seems to indicate that a third installment is unlikely.

We say this because in a questions and answers session in which I participate Gennadiy korol who was one of the main engineers of both titles, one of the fans of the franchise of Moon Studios, he asked about a third installment to which Korol answers the following:

We feel like we already told the story we wanted to tell throughout the two games. It’s actually Ori’s trip, and we’re happy with how it ended and what we wanted to say.

If you have already finished the game, you will know that we left the door somewhat open for a possible continuation, but for now we have nothing specific to share.

In this sense, and as you have already read, it seems unlikely that Moon Studios will continue a story that has already ended for them, although that does not mean a sudden “no”, in fact it is Korol himself who reminds us that the end of Will of the Wisps is like this, for a continuation that may or may not happen.
