Money on loan from a bank without interest. It happened

Mariela Atanasova, Director of Individual Banking at Raiffeisenbank for the business podcast “What can money do?”

You receive a credit card with a limit of BGN 500 to 3,000, you buy goods and services in installments of up to 12 months, even when they are on promotion. You shop in both physical and online stores. There is no interest, no hidden conditions. You see the limit, purchases and installments you owe directly to your phone. This, in short, is Raiffeisenbank’s new offer for anyone who can prove income with an employment contract. The product is called the “Installment” card and is the result of the bank’s cooperation with a fintech company, says Mariela Atanasova, director of “Individual Banking” at Raiffeisenbank.

It turns out that 70% of the holders of the “Contribution” card are women. The bank’s statistics also show that the majority of purchases with interest-free deferred payment are on white and black appliances, 20 percent of consumers buy clothes, and 10 percent – food and everyday goods.

  • Where can I pay with an “Installment” card?
  • What happens when the installment is delayed?
  • Can I withdraw cash from an ATM?
  • Is there a fee for this card?

What Mariela Atanasova answered, watch the business podcast “What can money do?” with Stefan Kunchev.
