Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Egyptian champion Mohamed Salah, player of the English club Liverpool, scored three goals (hat-trick), in spite of his team and the Scottish Rangers, which ended with the victory of “Rossi” with the score 7-1, Wednesday night, in the matches of the Fourth round of the UEFA Champions League 2023/2022.
Salah participated as a substitute, entering the field in the 68th minute of the match, managing to score a “hat-trick”.
Mohamed Salah became the fastest player in Champions League history to score 3 goals in 6 minutes and 12 seconds.
The Egyptian star has become the most African player to score Champions League goals with 45 goals, overtaking Ivorian Didier Drogba, who scored 44, and Cameroonian Samuel Eto’o, who scored 33 goals.
Salah overtook the quartet Sergio Aguero, Didier Drogba, Thierry Henry and Ruud van Nistelrooy, being considered the player with the most goals scored in European competition with English clubs with 38 goals.
