A 15-year-old girl from Ossendrecht, who had been missing since August 16, has been found again. “She was just found, as far as is known, in good health,” the police reported on Twitter tonight.
Last week, two men were arrested who might know more about the girl’s disappearance. The men have since been released, but they remain suspects in the case, according to a police spokesperson.
On Tuesday evening, the Opsporing Verzocht program drew attention to the disappearance. As a result of that broadcast, the police received a dozen tips.
A Missing Child Alert was also sent for the girl on Monday. It then yielded one tip. Due to the girl’s privacy, no further announcements about the disappearance will be made.
