An 11-year-old boy died in Mulhouse after falling from the balcony of the family apartment, reports our colleague from the Latest news from Alsace.
The facts took place Wednesday evening, at dinner time. The young teenager and his father were eating on the balcony when the father reportedly entered the apartment to answer a phone call. The child would have leaned on the railing, which would have given way. The child would then have fallen from the second floor.

The fall caused the young boy severe injuries and he was in cardiopulmonary arrest when first aid arrived. Despite Samu’s efforts, he could not be revived.
The father, in shock, was also taken into care. The police favor the trail of the accident. The work presented weaknesses, according to the first elements of the investigation.
