Barcelona announced that his new midfielder, Miralem Pjanic, positive exposure to the Corona virus. The 30-year-old player will not be able to join Barcelona for the next two weeks.
Pjanic has announced his farewell with Juventus to go to Barcelona for a fee of 60 million euros along with a bonus. The arrival of Pjanic to Barca also marked Arthur Melo’s departure to Juventus. The 23-year-old midfielder was released at a price of 72 million euros, plus 10 million euros in bonuses.
Having not yet arrived in Barcelona, Pjanic is experiencing health problems. Barcelona announced that the midfielder from Bosnia-Herzegovina had contracted the Corona virus.

“Miralem Pjanic tested positive from the PCR results taken on Saturday, August 22, after feeling a little unwell. The player is in good health and is isolating himself at home,” wrote a statement from Barcelona on the club’s official website.
“Therefore, the player will not travel to Barcelona for 15 days.”
Pjanic, through uploads on social media, is known to have spent a vacation in Porto Cervo, Italy, after Juventus were eliminated from the Champions League. So far it is not known whether the child and his wife have also been exposed to COVID-19.
The delay in joining Barcelona could be a difficult situation for Pjanic. This was because the Blaugrana had the arrival of Ronald Koeman, who replaced Quique Setien.
The Dutch coach has now started working to form a team framework. The midfield is one of the sectors that are included in Koeman’s reform.
