In honor of women, the municipality of Miraflores puts, starting this Monday, March 8, a Gesell camera in service in the San Antonio police station, which is a tool of vital importance for taking testimonial statements from women victims of violence .
The San Antonio police station will be the first in the country to have the aforementioned Gesell chamber. This environment allows the identity of a victim to be reserved without being identified by the perpetrator.
Likewise, the SOS Miraflores mobile computer application is put into operation, which is a panic button connected to the Citizen Security Central, for real-time attention to cases of violence against women.
The incorporation of 20 new Serenazgo motorcycles destined for this purpose is added.
The announcement of these services was made by the mayor of Miraflores, Luis Molina, who indicated that with the Gesell chamber a campaign offer that appears in the work plan is fulfilled.
He then highlighted the work in alliance with the South Police Division (DIVPOL SUR 1) of the PNP, in defense of women and the community in general.
Finally, she announced that this Monday, March 8, International Women’s Day, the municipality will distinguish a group of outstanding Miraflores women, among which are Carmen del Pilar Estela Benavides, Soraya Vidalón Portocarrero, María del Rosario (Choco) Vivanco Roca , Lucía Irurita de Bernasconi and Beatriz Margarita Ferrer Wurst.
