Ministry of Commerce Launches Credit Portfolio to Support MSMEs through Bancóldex

To support the micro, small and medium-sized business segment of the country, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism launched a credit portfolio through Bancóldex, compound for four lines of credit that total more than $320,000 million.

These are the lines: Competitive MSMEs; Internationalization for Productivity; Sustainable Go ahead and Women Entrepreneurswhich count with credit quotas to promote the modernization of production processesthe adoption of sustainable practices, the internationalization of MSMEs, and the financial inclusion and growth of companies led by women.

Internationalization Line for Productivity

This has approximately $76,000 million and will finance the internationalization and positioning plans of the exportable offer. Interested companies have the possibility of accessing credit for up to $700 million.

It has terms of up to 5 years, depending on its size, with grace periods of up to 12 months. The resources can be invested in working capital, or can be used to purchase inputs or pay payroll. or in modernization projects that contribute to a specific exportable project.

The resources of this line total $60,000 million, and with them, the country’s MSMEs will be able to finance their investments in modernization that seek a positive environmental impact.

Interested companies will be able to access credits for up to $1,000 million, depending on their size. Terms range from 3 to 5 years, with grace periods of up to 6 months.

Thus, they will be able to finance projects related to the circular economy, bioeconomy, adaptation and mitigation of climate change and energy transition.

Business Women Line

With this line, which totals $30,000 million, companies led by women will be able to access credits of up to $500 millionwith a term of 3 years and grace periods ranging from 3 to 6 months.

These resources will be able to cover their liquidity and investment needs to close gender gaps.
