Secretary General PDIP Hasto Kristiyanto said that the Minister of PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono has become a party cadre. Hasto said Basuki also had a PDIP membership card (KTA).
“Pak Basuki, he has a PDI-P KTA (Membership Card),” said Hasto at the PDIP School, Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta, Tuesday (21/6).
Hasto assesses that Basuki has a good track record in the field of development. In fact, Basuki was called the Father of Infrastructure by President Joko Widodo. Therefore, PDIP has no objection to Basuki becoming a party cadre.
“He carries out the tasks of building Indonesia’s connectivity for the advancement of our great Indonesia. Mr. Basuki is the father of infrastructure, said Mr. Jokowi,” said Hasto.
Basuki has recently been seen attending several PDIP events. Most recently, he was seen at the 52nd Haul Bung Karno event held by PDIP at the At-Taufiq Mosque near the PDIP party school in Lenteng Agung.
He was also seen at the opening of the National Working Meeting, with President Joko Widodo and DPR chairman Puan Maharani who is a PDIP cadre. Also present at the event were the Governor of Central Java, who is also a PDIP cadre, Ganjar Pranowo, to the Minister of State Secretary Pramono Anung.
