Ukraine Denies CNN’s Claims of Secret Military Plans: “Absolutely Secret Information”

“I don’t know who CNN spoke to. In any case, I can say that the number of people who know about our plans in our territory is extremely limited. And I don’t think that the informant who was in touch with CNN had any that attitude,” Danilov said.

According to him, Ukraine is in constant contact with its key allies, such as the US, UK, Germany and Poland.

“Data for carrying out certain operations, the number of units, who is involved and in what direction – this is absolutely secret information. If someone thinks that he has it, I can only congratulate. But I don’t know where they could get it from” Danilov added.

What preceded this

We will remind, recently The New York Times reported that the Pentagon is investigating a possible leak of secret documents of the US military. It was noted that some of them relate to the plans of the allies to prepare the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the announced counteroffensive.

After that, CNN, citing a source close to President Volodymyr Zelensky, reported that Ukraine allegedly changed some of its military plans after “leaking” secret documents to the network.

Note that the White House has not yet established who may be involved in the “leak” of information, but the Americans have already stressed that some of the documents were definitely forged.
