Millions of enforcement practices may be behind Paul Völner’s bribery case

For a long time, it was not possible to understand why, from 1 October, a new authority, the Supervisory Authority for Regulated Activities, would oversee the operation of an independent bailiff. Now, however, it would no longer be surprising if it had to do with the fact that, as a result of an ongoing investigation into bribery and other crimes, the Attorney General’s Office had requested the waiver of the immunity of Pál Völner, Fidesz Secretary of State for Justice.

According to the announcement of the prosecutor’s office, there was a well-founded suspicion that Pál Völner had received HUF 2-5 million from the President of the Faculty of Hungarian Judiciary on a regular basis. According to the suspicion, Pál Völner undertook to handle specific cases in accordance with the request of the President of the Hungarian Judicial Executive Faculty, abusing his supervisory, official and administrative powers. Völner is not only a plain representative, but also a deputy minister of the Ministry of Justice, parliamentary secretary of state, who has also been a ministerial commissioner in charge of the Hungarian Judicial Executive Faculty (MBVK) since August 2019.

This executive scandal has been swelling for months. The chairman of the MBVK mentioned by the prosecutor’s office is called György Schadl, who is the executor of the jurisdiction of the Budaörs District Court. These include Biatorbágy, Budajenő, Budakeszi, Budaörs, Herceghalom, Nagykovácsi, Páty, Perbál, Remeteszőlős, Telki, Tök and Zsámbék. On November 12, a Glance wrote, without naming the person concerned, that one of the senior leaders of the public body and his wife, who was working as an executive, had been beaten by the police at Liszt Ferenc Airport. The couple were reportedly made for Dubai when investigators appeared. A 24.hu Article According to him, since November 12, the news has been complete that the chairman of the MBVK, György Schadl, has been prosecuted.

The silent member Ákos Hadházy broke the silence when he posted on December 4 that the Central Investigation Prosecutor’s Office could investigate Schadl’s case, as the Prosecutor General’s Office initiated the seizure of the property of the chairman and his wife on the basis of title deeds.

The executive has been unavailable for weeks, so news of his arrest may be true. The fact of the criminal proceedings is clear from the above. Even more exciting is the investigative body of the Central Prosecutor’s Office. The priority issues for which they are responsible can be found on the organisation’s website. Obviously, for example, murder against a judge is out of the question, only the bribery of a member of the government is viable.

written by Ákos Hadházy. According to him, it is a fact that there has been a reorganization in the executive arm similar to traffic in recent years. Many bailiffs were deprived of their rights because they did not have a law degree. He added: on the one hand, it was a joke that they could pursue this profession without it, and on the other hand, the struggle for the greasy business thus liberated had begun. Hadházy also wrote: information from several places, though unconfirmed, was easy to imagine: Schadl could have given executive positions for money, but he also had to milk one of the heads of the Ministry of Justice.

It’s a question of what Schadl has said to the prosecution over the past month.

Executive positions should be roughly conceived as GP practices. An application for vacant bailiff posts, announced on 17 September, is now available on the MBVK’s website, in which 35 bailiffs are sought from the Central District Court of Pest, several district courts and the District Court of Debrecen or Székesfehérvár.

These places are worth a lot. For example, the Executive Office of SCHADL and PARTNER in Budaörs could enjoy a turnover of HUF 356 million in 2020, of which a profit of HUF 134.4 million.
