Milk collection: who developed its production the most in Europe in September?

In the EU27, the collection from lait Cows increased by 0.7% in September compared to the same month in 2021, according to the latest Eurostat data. Growth linked above all to the dynamism of the countries of the North and East, while the South remained in the red, a consequence of the drought and the summer heat waves.

It should be noted that the volumes produced last year were all in all limited and that this growth over a year is therefore not synonymous with abundance.

Production increases were most marked in October. What benefits above all is the processing of the powders, to the detriment of the cheese. The butter proceeds in reverse until it becomes cream.
