Milan, first Saturday without demonstration in the center

For the first Saturday after twenty weeks, the center of Milano he did not see any demonstrations, nor did he hear screams, whistles and slogans against the Green pass, the vaccine and the government. The first riots date back to last July 24th. Today, however, Saturday 4 December, there was in fact no unauthorized protest in the Duomo, perhaps also due to the temperatures that have dropped considerably. Or the hard fist of the police who immediately blocked any attempt at demonstration by nipping it in the bud.

Protesters stuck in the bud

Some no pass e no vax in fact they tried to meet in Piazza Duomo to create unrest, but public order officials immediately intervened and made them desist. Some activists, a few dozen, were accompanied, in some cases even by force because they tried to rebel, to an area with armored vehicles, and the mobile office of the police headquarters identified them. The few activists who arrived in the center to give rise to an abusive protest today found themselves in front of an impassable wall made up of agents in riot gear, who pushed them towards the corner between the Museo del Novecento and Palazzo Reale, where they were precisely identified. Initially three of them refused to give their personal details to the police and were then picked up by the police. In the end, six people were identified and fined for occupying urban areas. Another person was also fined in Piazza Scala, in this case for not using face protection.

Identify over 200 people

According to the balance drawn up by the Milan Police Headquarters relating to the No Green Pass demonstration held in Milan, a total of 202 people were identified, of which 7 will be reported for resistance to a public official and refusal to provide their personal details. 34 people were sanctioned for occupying urban areas and six for not wearing a mask. 30 removal orders were issued and 4 notices were sent to initiate proceedings for the issuance of the same number Daspo Urban. The device prepared by the Police Commissioner Petronzi managed to prevent an unannounced No Green Pass event from taking place in Piazza Duomo in mid-afternoon. The State Police, the Arma dei Carabinieri, the Guardia di Finanza and the Local Police were all scattered around the square and in this way made it possible for the multitude of people present for Christmas shopping to circulate freely in the city center.

Also this afternoon, in another area of ​​the Milanese city, at the Arco della Pace, other no vax activists, more or less seventy, have created a static garrison, this time authorized by the Milan police headquarters. There were no problems of public order here either. Another authorized procession began shortly before 16:00, when 500 demonstrators gathered near Palazzo Lombardia, the seat of the regional council. The procession it started as part of the national No Draghi Day initiative organized by the CUBs and headed towards Piazza Scala where the event ended in the late afternoon, around 5:30 pm. Meanwhile, the measure to avoid crowds for Christmas shopping has also been taken today: the entrances to enter the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele in Milan have been limited.
