Quick Action Saves Romeo

In the clip, Mike and Lauren can be seen sitting at their dinner table with Romeo and their daughter, Mia Bella, 1, when their son begins to struggle. Without hesitation, Mike, 41, and Lauren, 39, quickly jump into action and dislodge the piece of food from their son’s mouth.

A Scary Situation

Mike took to Instagram to share his experience and express his gratitude. “THE SCARIEST MOMENT OF OUR LIVES! It was an ordinary dinner when suddenly without notice Romeo started choking on his favorite pasta pesto gnocchi!!” he wrote. Mike and Lauren’s quick response saved Romeo’s life, and he’s relieved and proud of his wife and himself for remaining calm.

Reminder for Safety

Mike, taking the incident as a lesson, has decided to take CPR lessons to be even more prepared, and for the time being, they’re being cautious with Romeo’s meals and have decided to stop giving him his favorite gnocchi.

Following the reveal, Mike’s “Jersey Shore” co-stars expressed their support and relief in the comments. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Sammi Giancola, and Jenni “JWoww” Farley all commented on the terrifying incident.

A Growing Famil

Mike and Lauren, who have been happily married since 2018, are currently expecting their third child together. They welcomed their first child, Romeo, in May 2021, and their daughter, Mia Bella, in January 2023.
