Microsoft wants to acquire Nuance for possibly $ 16 billion (€ 13.5 billion), anonymous sources say to the usually well-informed Bloomberg. Nuance is working on artificial intelligence and speech technology, including for healthcare. The company also played an important role in voice analysis for Apple’s voice assistant Siri.
It is not clear what Microsoft would like to do with Nuance. Both companies have been working together since 2019.
