Microsoft revealed the specifications of the new Xbox Series X console

American corporation Microsoft revealed new details for its Xbox Series X console, due out in late 2020. The new set-top box will have its own eight-core AMD Zen 2 processor with a frequency of 3.8 GHz each, its own RDNA 2 graphics processor with a capacity of 12 teraflops and 52 computing units with a frequency of 1.825 GHz each. The console includes 16 GB of GDDR6 RAM with a 1 TB SSD NVME drive.

It will also be possible to expand the amount of memory using 1 TB cards that are inserted into the rear panel, there will be support for USB 3.2 hard drives. Microsoft claims that overall performance will be 60 frames per second in 4K, with the ability to work at 120 frames per second.

The SSD will allow owners of the Xbox Series X to launch several games at once and switch between them, as well as resume games after a Series X reboot, including after a few days or weeks.
