MFF’s sports director: “It is clear that you are self-critical now”
Many football players have testified about problems with gambling addiction. Already during the time in Malmö FF, Pawel Cibicki had problems with gambling. But his surroundings and club knew nothing.
– It is clear that you are self-critical now, we do everything we can but there was certainly more we could have done, says MFF’s sports director Daniel Andersson.

Former MFF player Pawel Cibicki is accused of bribery and gambling. During the course of the investigation, a serious gambling addiction has been exposed. Another former MFF player who has previously gone out and told about similar problems is Babis Stefanidis, whose gambling addiction cost him large parts of his life.
