Police raid factory methamphetamine real estate Tangerang on Wednesday (1/9). From the raid, West Jakara Metro Police Chief Kombes Ady Wibowo said the crystal methamphetamine factory in a luxury house in the Karawaci area, Tangerang, was later discovered to be part of a Middle Eastern drug network.
Ady said the operation carried out by his party secured two people who were foreign nationals (WNA).
“The two suspects arrested are foreign nationals (foreigners) from the Middle East, Iran,” Ady said in his statement, Friday (3/9).
Ady said that his party was still conducting investigations and collecting evidence from the methamphetamine factory in the Tangerang luxury housing estate.
“The identification and collection of evidence is still being carried out at the location,” he said.
Furthermore, West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Head Kompol Danang Setiyo said that his party had secured the location for investigation purposes.
“We basically keep it in the status quo, because it is still under investigation,” said Danang.
Previously, the police raided a luxury house in a luxury housing complex in the Karawaci area, Tangerang City which was used as the location of a drug factory on Wednesday (1/9). The raid on the meth factory in the Tangerang luxury house was later confirmed by Ady Wibowo on Thursday (2/9).
