Of course, we are talking about the metaverse and especially about the devices through which we will be able to participate in it, namely AR / VR glasses, which are emerging as the next big thing in technology.
Mark Zuckerberg and his Meta are among the pioneers in this field, and a recent publication by The Verge reveals that mastering the metaverse is a cause that Zuck sees as a personal battle.

According to sources at The Verge, Zuckerberg wants the AR / VR glasses that Meta is cooking to displace the iPhone from the spotlight and become a staple in the metaverse era.
Apparently, his plan is to launch the first Meta glasses on the market in 2024, and in 2026 and 2028 to launch their next generations.
The first model, codenamed Nazare, will be able to work without a phone connection and will offer realistic graphics and an overall AR experience.

The idea is to wear the glasses outside the home and have a “socially acceptable” design, and their weight will be about 100 grams.
In the next versions of the glasses, it is possible for Meta to combine the gadget with the Facebook device, which can read thoughts and transfer them to a digital environment.
It is a bracelet that detects muscle impulses in our hand and transmits them as instructions to the hardware, so we can write a message or surf the Internet without touching a screen, mouse or keyboard.

In the second and third versions of the glasses, Meta plans to introduce the ability to communicate with other people through their realistic holograms in real time, as well as many, many other extras typical of science fiction worlds.
Zuckerger’s plan is quite bold and in theory has the potential to really revolutionize mobile technology, similar to the one created by the iPhone.

Let’s not forget, however, that Apple is also preparing next-generation AR / VR technologies that have no less potential to win applause.
