Messi scored four goals and two assists for Argentina at the 2022 World Cup. This number means that Messi contributed to six of Argentina’s nine goals, or 66%.
In the match between Argentina and the Netherlands, Messi clearly showed his role as an engine of the game as well as a goal machine. Messi provided a brilliant assist for the first goal scored by Nahuel Molina.
