He notably mentioned the case of a player targeted by PSG, namely the right side Hamari Traore, under contract until June 2021 only and that Rennes would like to extend.
For Traoré as for Maoussa, its counterpart on the left wing, the Stade Rennais rather imagines continuity: “We are still chatting with Hamari and Faitout. Honestly, I’m pretty optimistic that the two will be there next season. The discussions are moving in the right direction, hence our optimism. I think they are the ones who will make the season. ” On the PSG side, Thomas Tuchel spoke last Friday of the club’s need to replace Thomas Meunier, preferably with a player of the same level.
We can also note a sentence from the President of Rennes which concerns all the clubs: “For the moment, the transfer window is extremely calm, most championships are still playing and the clubs are focused on it. For the moment, there is a lot of information gathering and not a lot of attacks (on Rennes players). “
