The 80th Hahnenkamm weekend will open on Friday with a Super-G (start: 11:30 a.m.). The Italian Dominik Paris will not be there. Paris contracted a cruciate ligament in her right knee during a training session in Kirchberg. The two Austrians Vincent Kriechmayr and Matthias Mayer are top favorites in the Super-G. Both ÖSV athletes have already won a Super-G this season and are also top in the discipline ranking.
The race is opened by last year’s winner Josef Ferstl. The first Austrian, Christian Walder, will start with number two. The leader in the Super G classification Vincent Kriechmayr emerges from the start house in ninth place. Max Franz and Matthias Mayer follow immediately behind.
