This afternoon a lawsuit was filed at the 23rd Civil Court of Santiago against José Miguel Viñuela, Due to the controversy that occurred in a broadcast of Pleasure, where the entertainer cut a cameraman’s hair without warning.

The legal action, taken by the worker, is sponsored by the lawyer Roberto Ávila, who gave more details.

“We seek with this action that the right to dignity of people is restored, regardless of their social, economic or professional status ”, the lawyer told BioBioChile.

“We seek that the court declares that an abusive and arrogant act was committed that seriously violated the dignity of a cameraman, from a person who is a face and is in a situation of superiority, “he added.

The lawyer added that, beyond compensation, they hope that “the abusive, arrogant and vexatious right towards the worker will be established.”

On the other hand, the professional appreciated that from Mega they have “repudiated” the fact carried out by the driver, who this Monday left the morning screen Pleasure.

“We did not go directly to the television channel because We have learned that they have repudiated the vexatious act that Mr. Viñuela committed and we are not aware that their attitude is part of the policies that the channel instructs, “he said.

Reactions in the Mega union

From the channel union they also expressed criticism towards the communicator and even made a complaint to the Labor Inspection, for the event that occurred last Thursday.

“It was a very serious action, which affected the dignity and integrity of a particular worker, in addition to muddying the image of the company, the program, its workers and the Union. Therefore, it is requested that Mega take all the corresponding internal and public actions to repair the damage caused, ”they indicated.

From the agency they maintained that they sent the background of the case to the station’s executive director, Patricio Hernández, for remedial measures to be taken.

“It is very unfortunate that a worker from our Union is involved in such a terrible situation and, in addition, with so much public exposure. We already let him and his entire family know that they can count on our full support for whatever they deem appropriate, ”they pointed out.

“Mega Union in its role of protecting workers, can not let this situation pass, so the formal complaint was made to the Labor Directorate, accusing violation of fundamental rights,” they added.
