Their name may not tell you much yet, but pay attention to it. Stay with him: Rochero. It is the stage name of Carlos Alberto Muñoz Medina, a young artist from La Mancha newcomer to the urban scene where he is already giving something to talk about with his first release: a song entitled Lost call.
At 26, Rochero presents the first of his songs after signing with the label Roster Music. Lost call is his cover letter, a song composed by him during confinement and in which he allows himself to be seduced by the reggaeton rhythms. The theme has been produced by Juanma Leal.
Born in the Las 600 neighborhood of Puertollano (Ciudad Real), Rochero is very aware of his origins in all his work. So much so, that the artist has shot the video clip of Lost call in La Mancha lands. For this audiovisual work, both Rochero and his team have done their best. In the filming, which took place last March, more than 60 people participated, including actors, figuration and technical team. The video begins with an outdoor wedding. The artist’s lover has just said yes to another man and Rochero grabs onto his most carnal memories to sing to the girl out of his hope to get her back.

What does Rochero mean? It is a word used in the region of Castilla La Mancha to designate someone who does not stop, a restless and partying person. The singer’s mother often referred to him in this way, so when choosing a stage name, it seemed clear that Carlos had to be Rochero.
Before becoming Rochero, Carlos Alberto began his musical foray under the name of Charlie Mun barely twenty years old, with whom he has been releasing songs, also from the urban genre, until 2019.
