After the social debate about equality, diversity and racism has flared up recently, Formula 1 launched the initiative #WeRaceAsOne, in order to express its support for more diversity in sport.
All Formula 1 teams will therefore show the colors of the rainbow somewhere on their car, but McLaren has just gone a step further. The rainbow colors will be visible on the sidepods in addition to the halo.
The halo of the MCL35 will also display the text ‘End Racism’. Mercedes also adjusted its livery last week in the run-up to the start of the season.
