A large fire broke out in an apartment block in Sopot. No one was injured, but everyone living in the block had to be evacuated, BNT reported
The fire spread to the roof of the apartment block. The signal was received at 5:00 p.m. and for more than 3 hours, three teams of firefighters and a mechanical ladder have been fighting the fire, reported the press center of RDPBZN Plovdiv.
Teams of the local fire department and police were immediately dispatched to the scene, and managed to evacuate the residents of the building extremely quickly and ensure their safety.
The fire started from a chimney and quickly spread to the roof because of the strong wind blowing in the city. At this time, the firefighters have concentrated forces and means in localizing the fire.
