Some of these are found in the project entitled ‘Through’, which came to light in 2019. As it happens, next to Massimiliano’s face, to impressive chameleons, crocodiles, elephants, there is a lion, an animal in which he recognized himself. His declared intention was to enter the random paths generated over time on the epithelium of painting, that ‘Craquelé’ capable of impressing a dense network of ‘street signs’ on the Louvre masterpiece.
