“Maskorama” season 2 – Here are this year’s hints

After a break of almost a year, it is finally ready tonight for season two of Norway’s perhaps wildest guessing game «Maskorama». Eight new celebrities hide behind the masks. Each week, the participant with the fewest votes must be dewormed and leave «Maskorama».

The guesswork already seems to be in full swing, especially on social media.

Here, Dagbladet summarizes all the hints that come about this year’s participants, so that it will be easier for you to guess which celebrity is hiding behind the masks.

During Saturday’s broadcast, the participants will perform a song that makes viewers better acquainted with the character. Something that may also be worth keeping in mind is that this year’s costumes also bring hints.

NOTE: This article contains spoilers about which participant smoked out in the first episode.

Here you can see Dagbladet’s “Maskorama” special.

The snow monster

The snow monster has a belt with a star and a hat on his head with a snowflake on. It has eight teeth – six down and two up, and snowflakes on both the suit and the belt.

The snow monster is passionate about what he does and is lucky to work with something he loves.

The snow monster performs “Into The unknown” by Idina Menzel, known from the movie “Frozen”.

Jan Thomas guesses that Emil Solli Tangen hides behind the mask, while Marion Ravn guesses Ole Klemetsen. Nicolay Ramm guesses Åge Sten Nilsen.

The frog

The frog speaks English and tells the story of others. Tonight it will tell its own. It went on board a long time ago on one of the world’s most famous ships, sailing past their shores.

On a painting displayed in the hints, it may look like an American flag is displayed. Millions gathered to follow the Frog’s journey, and the Frog still receives letters from people asking the frog for a self-portrait. It has also worn a good number of hats over the years. He doubts that anyone will suspect that he is on stage tonight.

The frog performs “Should I stay or should I go” by The Clash.

Marion Ravn thinks there is someone who plays football in Scotland. She also thinks the green in the suit hints at football. She changes her mind, however, and goes for adventurer Samuel Massie.

Nicolay Ramm thinks it’s a fun guy who has played football. Ramm thinks Bernt Hulsker is hiding behind.

Jan Thomas goes in a slightly different direction, and guesses Bjørn Eidsvåg.

“The Frog” was the one who pulled the shortest straw in the premiere, and thus had to be dewormed and leave Maskorama. The frog turned out to be Arve Juritzen.

– I am very sorry that I am not allowed to be with anymore, because this has been so much fun, he said from the stage.

The key

Nøkken shows up at dark, but is afraid of the dark, and is in the forest. Hen appears for the company’s sake, but is a little frightened. Nøkken still always appreciates a nice invitation and good company. Performing in “Maskorama” is outside Nøkken’s comfort zone.

Nøkken performs “Human” by Rag`n Bone Man.

Marion Ravn is guessing at adventurer and host Cecilie Skog. Nicolay Ramm thinks it’s dancer Mona Berntsen. Jan Thomas thinks it’s Maria Mena.

The lucky pig

The lucky pig has a southern dialect, but it can also be created to fool the panel and the audience.

The lucky pig wipes dust off a picture of Ibsen. The lucky pig says he has done so well from can to set tracks. It is therefore worth noting the use of “they”, and guessing what it might hint at.

The lucky pig hopes and believes that “we” are a nice and sociable pig who is generous and hospitable. The lucky pig likes to offer himself.

In “Maskorama”, the Lucky Pig performs “Money Money, Money” by Abba.

Nicolay Ramm thinks his namesake Nicolay Tangen is hiding behind the mask, while Jan Thomas guesses Petter Stordalen. Marion Ravn guesses Svein Østvik, better known as “Charter Svein”.

To wear

Although there are few geological traces, dragons have left a legacy in stories and legends.

The dragon spent much of his childhood in the cave. A chessboard with several figures on it is also shown in the hint package.

– You can call it a comeback, even if I would not call it exactly that, says Dragen.

The dragon performs “I Wanna Be Your Slave” by Moonlight.

Jan Thomas had some faith in his good friend Einar Tørnquist, but eventually went for Alex Rosen. Marion Ravn went for Hank von Helvete, while Nicolay Ramm went for chess player Magnus Carlsen.

The mermaid

With Havfuren, viewers can only see the top of the iceberg, the part of the mermaid that only he himself can spare, says Havfruen. Hen describes himself as half fish and half human. The mermaid has no fear of going in depth, but great fear of living a life on the surface.

The Mermaid performs “Sparkling Diamonds” by Nicole Kidman.

Marion Ravn thinks it’s Birgit Skarstein, while Nicolay Ramm holds a button on Marit Larsen. Jan Thomas guesses Agnete.

Nissen

Santa has a Nordland dialect. Santa says there are many types of goblins. «Fjøsnisser», «fjompenisse», «rødnisser» and so on. The Santa in “Maskorama” is, according to himself, the coolest of them all, but that has not always been the case. Finally, Santa cracked the Santa code, and large doors opened.

Santa sings “SexyBack” by Justin Timberlake.

Nissen receives feedback from the panel on strong footwork. Marion Ravn thinks the dialect is not real. Silje Nordnes, who herself is from northern Norway, suspects that the dialect is not genuine.

Bamsen

Bamsen has not always been the first choice among the toys in the toy box, and probably knows a little about it. But it loves to provide comfort and encouragement. The teddy bear does not brag and does not have the most flashy appearance. But maybe it lives more in the teddy bear than it seems at first glance

The teddy bear has red hearts on the scarf that sway in the air. The colors red, white and gold are represented on the scarf. The teddy bear holds another teddy bear in his hand.

Bamsen sings “Shake it Off” by Taylor Swift.

Anita Hegerland, says Jan Thomas. Nicolay Ramm thinks it’s Margrethe Røed.
