Priya Chaudhry, Majors’ attorney, told Page Six in a statement Thursday that the woman in question sent the “Marvel” actor several text messages after his arrest. For example, she would have admitted that she was the one who used physical violence against him: “I told them it was my fault because I tried to grab your phone.” In the messages, which allegedly come from the 30-year-old woman , she also stated that she will “make sure nothing happens.” She also allegedly said she was “angry” that Majors had been arrested. “I have said several times that this was not an attack,” the person who texted the ‘Creed III’ star wrote. I was injured and that we had a fight.” She would have closed with “I love you.”
Several hours later, after Majors failed to respond, she allegedly re-admitted that “the alleged strangulation did not occur” and that “the charges should be immediately dropped.” She also said she was in contact with the prosecutor and insisted that the complaint be dropped.
According to the New York Police Department, the argument between Majors and the woman took place on March 25 at an apartment in Chelsea. “The victim, a 30-year-old woman, informed police that she had been assaulted,” an NYPD spokesman said in a statement. “The victim sustained minor injuries to her head and neck and was taken to hospital in stable condition.” The actor was arrested last Saturday. He was released again later that evening.
More evidence
Priya Chaudhry declared last week that Majors is innocent. “In fact, he himself is the victim,” said the lawyer. She therefore expects that all charges against the ‘Marvel’ star will be dropped.
