Marta Grigale announces her upcoming album – Music with the single “Drama”

On the last day of September, the local musician Marta has released a new song “Drama”, which was made in collaboration with producer DJ Rudd, and is the forerunner of the upcoming album “Things That Happen in My Head” at the end of October.

The author of the text and music of the song “Drama” is Marta herself, but the producer is DJ Rudd or Rūdolfs Budze). It must be said that the single is very contagious and danceable, which was noted by several of its listeners in their comments on the song. Since I often exaggerated and “conjured drama” out of nowhere, Rudolf joked that it would be worthwhile to write a song about it. It started as a joke, but turned into the album’s brightest single, ”says Marta.

According to her, the soundtrack and lyrics are dedicated not only to all the “queens of drama”, but also to the personal connection with the art of theater: “The song contains several references to theater, which will always have a special place in my life. This is definitely a song that you can dance to, sing with and with the energy of overcoming the gloom of autumn. ”

A text video has also been created for the song, this time by electronic music artist Kashuks. It is symbolic that in this video you can also see props from various performances of the Latvian National Theater.
