Ashley Walters, the former assistant of Marilyn Manson, tries to counter a motion introduced by the lawyers of the singer who would like to cancel the complaints which she issued against him by invoking the prescription of the facts.
She retorts by specifying that she would not have dared to complain before since the singer threatened her if she ever spoke.

The assistant filed a lawsuit against Manson last May, accusing him of numerous crimes, including sexual assault, sexual violence, sexual harassment and intentionally inflicted emotional distress. She explains in particular that during their first meeting at his home in 2010, the singer would have taken her to his bed to kiss her, bite her ear and put her hand under her underwear.
Ashley Walters, who aspired to be a photographer, worked for Manson between 2010 and 2011. She suffered numerous humiliations detailed in an article by the Rolling Stone magazine and has even witnessed scenes of rape and other assaults on other women, such as Rachel Wood, and had already explained a little earlier that she regretted not having said anything then.
Lawyers for the plaintiff explain that it was only after joining a support group organized by other women who accuse the singer and undergoing therapy that “the effects of Marilyn Manson’s outrageous conduct ceased”.
For their part, the singer’s lawyers want the case to be closed.
Justice Stern has yet to rule on this motion.
