Many flights at Schiphol were canceled due to heavy gusts of wind

The KNMI has already warned for thunderstorms with heavy wind gusts between 75 and 100 kilometers per hour on Monday afternoon and evening. Code yellow applies to the entire country from noon.

“This afternoon there will be heavy showers over the country between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. During these showers there will be thunder, hail and heavy gusts of wind for a short time. In the evening the heavy gusts of wind will decrease inland, but the western coastal provinces will remain warm until the night. There is a chance of heavy gusts of wind on Tuesday,” the KNMI said.
