NEW YORK — A 37-year-old subway passenger nearly lost his life after allegedly asking fellow commuters to stop smoking marijuana on a Brooklyn train, New York City Police announced.

According to authorities, the victim was riding a southbound A-Line train in East New York around 2 a.m. when she apparently thought she smelled marijuana and asked two men, possibly teenagers, who she had been associated with. the smell to eliminate it.
