Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes that Edinson Cavani still has good years ahead of him and would like to see the Uruguayan striker extend with Manchester United, Red Devils manager said on Monday.
Asked about the possibility of Cavani staying an extra season, Solskjaer replied: Currently, he shows that he still has good years left, so I wouldn’t say the opposite.
He had a great influence and made a difference since his arrival

Cavani, who will be 34 in February, signed a one-season contract with an optional extra year with Manchester United in September from Paris SG. The Uruguayan scored four goals in 13 appearances for United and gave Bruno Fernandes an assist on Saturday coming off the bench against Leicester (2-2). Solskjaer has made it clear, however, that Cavani’s role isn’t all about a luxury replacement.
