Two Students Died During Training, UIN Maliki Disbanded UKM Pagar Nusa

Stone – Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University (UIN Maliki) took firm action to dissolve UKM pencak silat Pagar Nusa. This decision was issued after the death of two students while attending the training for admissions and new member association (PPAB) of the Pagar Nusa pencak silat UKM in Coban Rais, Batu City, Saturday (6/3/2021).

“We have conducted a meeting and decided on UKM Pagar Nusa we disband. Because we have guidelines for student affairs, the points are sufficient, “said Deputy Rector III of UIN Maliki Dr Isroqun Najah while attending a press conference at the Batu Police Headquarters.

According to Isroqun Najah, the campus also supports the police’s steps in investigating the deaths of two of its students. UIN Maliki is said to be resigned and will follow the findings of the case handling that has been carried out.

“We will also impose academic sanctions on anyone involved in the negligence that occurred,” said the Head of PCNU Malang City.

Deep sorrow is also conveyed to the families of the two students who passed away. Gathering is expected to be tightly knit forever.

“We are committed to campus kinship with family,” he said.
