Man Steals Patient’s iPad at Croix-Rousse Hospital but Gets Caught Through Geolocation

A man broke into a hospital room on Wednesday Red Cross. He stole a bag containing the patient’s personal effects, including his iPad.

It is finally thanks to this iPad that the thief will be confused. Thanks to geolocation system of the device, the police were quick to find the trace of the individual, who was on the main street of Croix-Rousse.

Other stolen items

He was in possession of the iPad, but also other multimedia devices whose origin he could not justify. Well known to the services, the suspect was taken into custody. He confessed to the facts while in police custody.

He was to be presented to the prosecution this Friday, July 28, for a judgment in immediate appearance. The patient was able to recover his belongings.
