Man shot in Trondheim – two people arrested – NRK Trøndelag

The police received a message from the VET center a little before half past two on Thursday night.

– Victims are in their late 40s. He is not life-threateningly injured, says police operations manager Anlaug Oseid to NRK.

Two people arrested

Just after 10 o’clock, the police inform NRK that they have arrested two people – a woman and a man.

– The arrest was undramatic. There are two people we associate with an apartment near the crime scene, and who are acquaintances of those involved, says Bente Bøklepp, prosecutor in the case at Trøndelag police district.

These people are now being questioned. Police are still looking for two more people.

Shot outdoors – have investigated various crime scenes

There must be a relationship between the victim and the perpetrator (s).

The parties are known to the police from before, but the police would not say earlier Thursday morning if they knew who they were looking for.

Forensic scientists have investigated various crime scenes, the operations manager states.

The shooting must have taken place outdoors.

A neighbor, who wishes to remain anonymous, has not heard anything during the night.

– I heard nothing last night. And I was quite awake too, but did not hear anything. It is sad that this is happening, the person tells NRK.

Preliminary interrogation

The police have been in dialogue with the victim at the hospital.

– An initial interrogation of the victim has been carried out, and the police are conducting technical investigations at the scene, Bøklepp says in a press release from the police.

She says that the person in question must have explained that there were several people present during the shooting.

– This is a serious incident. What is important now is that we get hold of the two people we are looking for, she adds.
