A man was seriously injured in a stabbing at a house in Etten-Leur on Saturday evening. A woman suffered minor injuries. This is reported by the police. Two men were arrested as suspects, one of them was also slightly injured. Emergency services have turned out en masse to Julianalaan.
An air ambulance landed a short distance away and brought a doctor. Four ambulances and eight police cars also arrived on the scene. The street is completely closed off.
The stabbing happened just before 9 p.m. Saturday night. A passerby called the police after someone came out of the house suspiciously.
Unclear who stabbed
“We found a seriously injured man in the house, he was taken to the hospital by ambulance. A woman was slightly injured, she was treated by paramedics. Two suspects were arrested in the house, it is still unclear which of the two stabbed a police spokesman said.
The house is being further investigated for traces and the police are investigating in the area. In all, there were six people in the house. Earlier Saturday night, the police spoke of two seriously injured people, but later adjusted that to a seriously injured man, a slightly injured woman and a slightly injured suspect.
