The Darmstadt Regional Court sentenced a 25-year-old man to life imprisonment on Friday for the murder of his former partner. The Afghan admitted to having stabbed the 30-year-old German to death with a chef’s knife in their former shared apartment in Darmstadt in November last year. When the body was autopsied, 45 stab and cut injuries were found.
