Man injured in possible street robbery in De Pijp

A man was injured in a possible street robbery on Van Ostadestraat in de Pijp tonight. The victim was walking down the street when he was robbed around 9:30 p.m. He was taken to hospital and is accountable, a police spokesman said.

The street is still being investigated by the police and forensics. Camera images from the area are secured.

It is not yet clear whether there are one or two perpetrators. No arrests have been made. It is unknown if anything was stolen in the street robbery.
