Witnesses at Eidsvoll are said to have notified the police about driving on the seventh of December. They moved out with a patrol. The man who is now charged must have been alone in the car.

It writes Romerikes Blad.

– He denies criminal guilt after the indictment. He does not deny having had a high blood alcohol level, but denies having driven the car while under the influence, says police attorney Sara Westgaard Torgersen in the East police district to the newspaper.

To RB, the police attorney describes the blood alcohol level as rarely high.

– With such a high impact, you as a car driver will obviously be a danger to both yourself and other road users.

The case will be heard in court in May. If the accused is convicted according to the indictment, he will risk unconditional imprisonment, says the police attorney to the newspaper.

– Reactions to the driving meant that the police were called. The witness will appear in court, together with a police witness, she tells Romerikes Blad.

VG has tried to get a comment from the man’s defense lawyer Gard A. Lier without success.
