A man in his 30s has died and seven others have been injured after police received reports of someone with a knife in Britain.
Officers were called to the Cornwall area of Victoria Square at 3.15am on Sunday.
A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder, attempted murder and grievous bodily harm.
The police announced that they are not looking for another perpetrator or helper of the arrested person, bTV reported.
The investigation is ongoing and the area of the attack remains cordoned off.
