Man arrested for ammunition sale to care farm shooter | Inland

The Amsterdammer sold ammunition to S. at the end of April, the police concluded after an investigation. Several firearms, ammunition, narcotics and a large amount of money were found in his house on Thursday. They have been seized for further investigation. The man was arraigned on Monday and will remain in detention for at least another fourteen days, according to the OM.

S. would have threatened an ex-girlfriend on May 3. Via WhatsApp, he sent her a photo with a firearm and a note instructing her to come to a certain place. The woman notified the police, but no action was taken as the message was believed to have come from someone else.

On May 4, S. allegedly shot and killed a 60-year-old shoemaker in Vlissingen. The ex-girlfriend was sent a photo of the victim’s bloodied, tied up body. On the body was a note with the date May 4, the name of the woman and the addition “Fuck You.”

Two days later, on May 6, the shooting took place at the Tro Tardi care farm in Alblasserdam. A 34-year-old employee and a 16-year-old girl were shot dead, two others were seriously injured. S. was arrested in a neighboring park after the violence.
