The DA’s office has opened an abuse investigation and Benson is being questioned by Michelle Morrison. Savannah Ross, a 20-year-old girl, comes to the special unit to file a complaint for a rape that took place two weeks earlier. Her attacker wore a Prince Charming mask, he put on a Wagnerian opera aria during the rape and then forced her to take a long shower. Terrorized at the idea of returning to her apartment, she is temporarily relocated to a secure home. But while researching the girl, Rollins has doubts: she has already made false accusations when it could serve her interests. Benson continues to believe Savannah, but Rollins asks her if her judgmental skills are not affected by the investigation she is the subject of. Benson agrees with Rollins’ advice and informs Savannah that she will have to leave the home.
