“Mammoth March” is imminent – TV 05/07 Hüttenberg

TV 05/07 Hüttenberg goes into another English week with an away game at VFL Lübeck-Schwartau (March 2nd, 2021 / kick-off: 7 p.m.) and thus opens a mammoth program that will be played in Central Hesse in March. “With the away games in Lübeck, Bietigheim and Dresden as well as the home games against Gummersbach and Eisenach, an awesome program is waiting for us,” said TVH coach Johannes Wohlrab.

The TVH has its first catch-up game in this “Corona season”, especially since the match against VFL Lübeck-Schwartau should have taken place on December 26th, but could not take place due to pending test results. Both sides have agreed on March 2nd as a catch-up date, so that the Wohlrab-Sieben are now facing two away games.

VFL a top team

The upcoming hosts drew attention to themselves before the season by signing last year’s MVP Julius Lindskog Andersson and thus underlined their ambitions. After two defeats at the beginning, however, the initial euphoria was subdued. This could only be sparked in the other six games, in which the Hanseatic city brought one victory after the other. Currently, the VFL has got stuck behind the three front runners and can tip the scales in the promotion race with the remaining games against HSV Hamburg and TuS N.-Lübbecke.

Wohlrab wants to collect bonuses

“We can draw a positive balance from February with our 6-4 points. Now a mammoth program is waiting for us in March. It is all the more important that we were able to breathe a little air in the relegation battle and everything that comes next in March should be seen as a bonus. The more bonuses we take with us, the more air we would continue to create downwards. We would like to start with that in Schwartau. They also played and thus the distribution of power is balanced, ”revealed TVH coach Johannes Wohlrab, who takes a closer look at the upcoming opponent from northern Germany.

TVH arrives as an outsider

“Schwartau has a bomb crew and they are right up there. With Lindskog and Löfström, they signed the best players in their positions from last season. Before the round, they were fully entitled to be among the favorites for promotion. But we don’t go there for free, we’ve always looked good against them in recent years. We want to take this positive feeling with us, bundle our strengths, play with absolute concentration, throw everything into the balance and then we also have a clear goal. We try to take something that can be counted, ”says Wohlrab. In this endeavor, the statistics of the last five clashes of the traditional clubs are encouraging, especially since the TVH was able to record two draws and three wins.
