Dubai: Around 16 people, including Malayalis, were injured in a fire at a residential building in Dubai’s Dera Burj Murar. There are also unconfirmed reports of several deaths.
The fire broke out on the fourth floor of the building where Talal Super Market is located on Saturday around 12 noon.
The preliminary information is that the cause of the accident is an electrical short circuit. There are also reports that the accident was exacerbated by the explosion of the window AC. Police and civil defense rushed to the spot and carried out rescue operations. Meanwhile, no police report has been released regarding the death or the injured.
