Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud Md answer funny football led by PSSI president Mochamad Iriawan alias Iwan Bule and FIFA president Gianni Infantino. Mahfud mentioned the moral responsibility related to the Kanjuruhan tragedy.

TGIPF’s Kanjuruhan tragedy chairman said President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has begun to implement the steps according to TGIPF recommendations. Hence, Mahfud mentioned the pressure to step down from the leadership of the PSSI.

“What the president does is only insofar as he relates to the authority of the Indonesian government. The question for the leadership of the PSSI to step down can be made as a moral responsibility,” Mahfud said.
“If this (resignation from office) is done, it does not mean violating the rules of FIFA and PSSI. Anywhere in the world, resignations are not prohibited and they do not violate the rules,” he continued.

Previously, Gianni Infantino and Iwan Bule played soccer together. This joint football activity took place at the Madya stadium on Tuesday (19/18/2022) night.

A member of the Joint Independent Fact-Finding Team (TGIPF) for the tragedy at the Kanjuruhan Stadium, Laode M Syarif, deeply regrets that this fun football activity was carried out when the graves of the victims were not yet dry.
“I think such an attitude is very unfortunate because the graves of the victims have not yet dried,” Syarif told reporters on Wednesday (19/10).
